Övrig information This edition presents a unique collection of partimento realizations, exercises in thoroughbass notation probably deriving from the Neapolitan conservatories, from around the 1750s. The manuscript, today preserved in the Biblioteca Communale in the village of Gallipoli, contains forty-six realizations of partimenti by Francesco Durante (1684-1755). This first volume includes thirty realizations of exercises that Durante composed over the ascending bass motions. The realizations that are presented in this first volume, correspond with Durante’s collection Studj per cembalo con partimenti diversi. Durante’s unrealized versions of these pieces are available at Wessmans under the order numbers 202450 and 202451.

Denna utgåva presenterar en unik samling av partimento-realisationer, dvs generalbasövningar som troliger härstammar från de Neapolitanska konservatorierna, från omkring 1750-talet. Manuskriptet, som idag bevaras i Biblioteca Communale i byn Gallipoli, innehåller fyrtiosex realisationer av partimenti av Francesco Durante (1684-1755). Denna första volym inkluderar trettio realisationer av övningar som Durante komponerade över uppåtgående basrörelser. De realisationer som presenteras i denna första volym motsvarar Durantes samling Studj per cembalo con partimenti diversi.
